Finley's Broken Leg

so, as amazing as our half birthday party was, it didn't go off without an injury. we rented a GIANT blow up waterslide and finley really wanted to be like all the big kids and go right up to the top with them. she climbed the ladder, was just about ready to slide down and got scared. she started to cry so drew went up to get her and on the way back down, he slipped and fell. long story short, finley ended up with a broken leg.

she was such a trooper. we ended up at the orthopedist on monday and she has a cast from groin to ankle. and it's HOT PINK! she was the cutest thing when they asked her what color she wanted. "the pinkest pink" she told them. i have to say, this child is unbelievable! she never cried when they were putting on her cast. she was so inquisitive and such a big girl!









when we got home, preslee and mason had to help her decorate it and since everyone has signed it. she is so proud!
