12 weeks

today we had our first trimester screening done. this is a combination ultrasound and bloodwork to screen for chromosomal abnormalities in the baby. praise the lord, our baby is perfectly healthy! the nuchal scan was completely normal and the MD said that the heart, kidneys, and brain all looked normal.

this little peanut was kicking and stretching out his/her legs all over the place. at one point, drew and i got a wave too. it was so amazing to see, yet strange at the same time to not see two heads in there.......
