Seeing Santa, not so much!

a few weekends ago, we decided that it was time to take the girls to see santa and try and get a picture. last year drew and i had to be in the picture and hold the girls down. everything was going great, they were in line, very excited. mason kept trying to skip other kids to be first. she said she couldn't wait to sit on santa's lap and tell him that she wanted a stroller for her new baby. finally, it was their turn. preslee ran right up and jumped on santa's lap. mason fell to the ground, screaming no, no! drew tried to pull her and she jumped up and took off running down the mall. preslee turns to me and asks, " is mason scared of santa?" i said, yes, she is a little afraid, but daddy will bring her back. immediately pres starts to cry and jumps off santa's lap, saying, "I'm afraid too." she runs in the other direction. i sat finley on santa's lap and took off after preslee. keep in mind that there were about 25 people in line watching the chaos. finally got the girls back and finley was in santa's lap hysterical! so, drew and i jumped in and said, just take it. here you go, merry christmas 2009!
