like it or not, preslee and mason are down to 30 days until their one year birthday! i can't believe it and i definitely don't like it. they are growing up way too fast for my taste. it's amazing to see how much they understand and can do now-so different from when they were newborns.
they change so much from day to day, but i think they have changed the most in these last 30 days. mason is walking, still prefers to crawl and only takes about 6-10 steps before she crawls, but everyday is getting more confident. i fully expect to put her down one day and watch her take off! preslee will point to her nose if you ask her, "where's your nose?" and my personal favorite, i say, "how big are you?" and they throw both of their little arms up above their heads. it is great! they are like little sponges, absorbing everything and they love to mimic sounds.
they are becoming their own little people with their own little attitudes. preslee had her first official temper tantrum today. i had finished talking on the phone and laid it down on the floor. she picked it up and started pushing buttons. before i knew it, she was calling someone. so, i took it away from her and she just exploded. first she screamed and then hit her tiny little fists on the floor, then she just flopped over, face down and sobbed! i was in shock, not preslee. she is always so passive and easy going! of course, 2 minutes later, she had moved on to something else and had forgotten it. silly girl! i think our house is about to become very interesting!
