happy 16 months preslee and mason! as each and every month passes, i think to myself, can it get any better than this? and it does! i am amazed as each day passes how much you are exploring and learning about this world. just in the last month, your vocabulary has gone from about 15 words to 30 words. you are asking for crackers (crackus) and bubbles constantly. and yesterday you asked me to color (cogu) after getting out of the pool (poo). i love hearing you check attendance in the morning to see which of your adoring fans is going to get you out of your crib. will it be mama, dada, mamaw, papaw, nana, pop, meme or heidi? then there is the squealing! you two make mama laugh all day long when you are squealing and playing with each other. whoever said that toddlers only parallel play hasn't see you two in action. you are a real team, reading books together or stacking blocks only to swipe them down and laugh and laugh. the walking has turned into running and climbing on everything. undoing the straps in your wagon, stroller, highchair and carseat is the new fun thing to do! and my favorite is preslee, when i tell you no and you point your little finger at me and say, "no, no, no" right back. you both have that independent streak from your daddy and i.
