Pumpkin Patch

today was the girls first trip to a real, live pumpkin patch. we spent the afternoon at north run farms. preslee and mason loved the different animals at the petting zoo. the cow and pig had multiple little babies. i thought we were busy with twins, the mama pig had quintuplets!!!

we took a hayride through the farm and stopped in the pumpkin patch where you could pick your own pumpkin and they would cut it right off the vine for you. we saw a lot of different pumpkins, some small and some HUGE, but none as cute as our little pumpkins!

as we were walking through the farm, i was watching the girls and how they would stare or their eyes would light up when they looked at something. most everything there was new to them, something that they had never seen before. as adults, i think we often take the little things for granted, such as pumpkins, who ever thinks twice about a pumpkin? but for them, it was so exciting! thank you preslee and mason for always reminding me to cherish the little things!

the rest of the day the girls spent laughing with daddy! he can always make them laugh!

We're truly blessed to have these litle girls in our lives. It amazes me how quickly they're growing and learning. They are beautiful and happy little girls.

Love, Mamaw and Papaw
