today i took preslee and mason to free play at my gym. they have their scheduled class every saturday, but on wednesdays they offer 45 minutes of free play where the kiddos can just run and jump and burn off that extra energy. today was rainy and gross. i was bored in the house and i know the girls were too, so we headed out in the storm to free play. wow! even with the bad weather, there were so many kids and so much energy.
i was so proud of the girls because they weren't afraid of all the kids and they just jumped right in and started playing. these two girls have never met a stranger. they "talked" and played with everyone! mason has now started running. mommy's not as fast i as i used to be and i have to admit, once she gets going, i have to scoot to catch her. preslee just really started walking in the last few weeks and today gave her a huge open room to practice. they went non-stop for the entire 45 minutes.
so many parents came up to me and asked me, "how do you do it with two?" honestly, i don't even think about it, because it's all i know. we have so much fun together, i can't begin to imagine if there was only one of them. i feel like we belong together. i was so proud of them today. they are amazing! everyday, they take my breath away.
