Happy 21 months Preslee and Mason!

21 months ago today, i was just waking up to take a shower and start the day. i was in the hospital, well into my second week there on bedrest. i was only allowed a 3 minute shower a day and the nurses did time me. i took it first thing every morning, just in case, today would be the day that our sweet babies would decide to be born. can you blame me? a girl has to be clean for those first photos with the new babies.

now, here we are 21 months later. some things have changed and others are eerily the same. i am still up at 645am, but on my blog, not showering. oh, how priorities change, don't they? don't worry, i did shower last night. but this morning, my sweet babies are still sound asleep in their nursery and i am getting ready to pack the diaper bag, eat my breakfast and get dressed for my 27 week ob appt with our third baby girl this morning.

with every month that passes, we watch the girls graduate into a new period of their lives. time speeds up faster everyday. i can't believe that they are only 3 months away from being two years old and it seems like just yesterday that i was planning their first birthday party. if it could just slow down for a little while? i love this time with them. over the last month, they have turned from little mimics to actually having a conversation with me and each other. they remember everything, so don't make a promise that you don't intend to keep.

they love to sing and at night insist, that mommy and daddy sit and sing the 4 or 5 different songs that they list for us. they sing "tinkle, tinkle" little star with the sweetest sounding voice that you have ever heard. we say prayers at night for everyone, a whole list of people, as well as mickey, minnie, donald and daisy. we also pray for heidi, who the girls say is "cwazy".

in about 75 days, the beynon family is going to become a party of five. our new little princess, finley will be here. preslee and mason are so ready for their baby sister. they pat my stomach and say "sista" and ask me, "baby coming?" drew and i are so excited to meet her and welcome her to our family. but for now, i have 75 days to spend with my little babies who rapidly before my eyes are becoming little girls. happy birthday preslee and mason! mommy and daddy love you so so much!
