we are officially 23 weeks into my pregnancy! today we had our fetal echo for baby finley. we had one with the girls too and i remember being so nervous but i had a real peace about the one today. the pediatric cardiologist said her heart was perfect! we were able to see in such detail all four chambers, the different valves, pulmonary arteries, the patent ductus and the foramen ovale (this is for all my nurse friends). while drew and i were thrilled and so thankful to get such a good report, we got an extra added bonus too.
we noticed that she kept opening and closing her mouth, swallowing maybe? then we saw her little tongue stick out and the tech said, i think she is chewing on something. it was her fingers! later in the ultrasound, she moved her hand up by her ear and was chewing on the side of her elbow. my sweet, sweet baby was hungry. before it was over, she stuck her tongue out at us a few more times. it was the absolute cutest thing!
we just can't wait to meet her!

So glad to hear all is well with the baby and that she's moving all around. What wonderful news. Can't wait to meet Finley Clark!
We love the name Finley. We can't wait to meet her and love on her. She's so blessed to have two loving little sisters and wonderful loving parents. If she only knew how much love is waiting for her. Of course we'll spoil her too!
