this week we had two rainy, cold days and i had to pull out some "old faithful" craft ideas. the first day went well. the girls liked glueing tissue paper on a paper plate and then ripping it off. today we decided to try fingerpainting. it started out neatly. i wrapped their high chair trays with aluminum foil (less mess, you know?) then they ripped that off and decided to "wash" their bodies and hair with the paint. thank you crayola for non toxic, washable paint. the morning ended up with them in the kitchen sink for a bath and then down for a long nap.
