Happy 20 Months!

i can't believe that preslee and mason are 20 months old. 620 days they have brought daily smiles and laughter to our house. every month that has passed since their one year birthday, they have changed so much. they are so full of life and at night, i have to say that i just crash. from the minute we hear their squeals and laughter in the morning, i have on my running shoes and don't stop until they are ready for bedtime. what are the girls doing now you ask?

-they love, love, love to sing! the new favorite is muppy mam do, translated to do you know the muffin man. we sing that and "sunshine" about 40-50 times a day.
-they know the first five letters of the alphabet and can recognize them if you show them the letter
-they know all their colors and point to everything and tell you what color it is
-they know the basic shapes
-i have stopped counting the numbers of words that they know because they say everything. drew and i have to be very careful of anything we say because they are both little mimics
-my favorite is when they do something new and yell out, "i did it!"
-they try to dress themselves including taking off and putting on their diapers. we are still working on potty training. some days that goes well, other days, they just aren't interested.
-they can name everyone in our immediate family and will list them all at night when we say our prayers. the sweetest is when they kiss baby finley. they know she is in my tummy.
-they say, "mommy/daddy hug you." which means they want drew or i to hold them.

but most of all, they still amaze me everyday. how smart they are, how beautiful they are and how much and how fast they are growing. they still have that ability to take my breath away.

happy birthday preslee and mason!
