for the last few months, drew and i have been working with the girls on potty training. in the beginning, they were really gung ho and everytime we would put them on the potty, they would go, always pee-pee, but they would go. then they just got busy, i guess and lost interest. so, with the new baby coming so soon and moving into our new house in the spring, i just decided to wait until after we moved to try again.
tonight, after dinner, preslee kept saying, "potty, potty." i asked her if she wanted to go try to sit on her potty or did she want to go in her diaper. of course, she said, "go in my diaper." so, i didn't think anything else about it. but she kept saying, "potty, potty." finally she came over and said, "in my chair." so we went upstairs and after only a few pages of her mother goose book, she poo-poo'd like a big girl in her potty!! once she realized that she was going, she got so scared, stood up and said, "oh no, goodness, sorry mommy." i assured her that she wasn't doing anything wrong and that we were so proud of her.
she came right downstairs, told mason and said, "mason try too." mason wasn't interested. that will be for another day!

Oh my goodness....GO Preslee!!!! The only interest in potty here is Jacob taking the potty into the family room and sitting on it :) Lets hope that stops once the real training begins :)
That is just hysterical! I'm so proud of Preslee. I'm sure Mason will be right behind her! What a cute story!
Way to go Preslee! I'm sure you'll be a good role model for Mason.
Papaw and I are very proud of you.
