i just can't believe that you are two? where did the time go?
it seems like it was just yesterday that i watched you make your grand entrance into this world, bringing you home for the first time (that nervous drive home took a lot longer than normal because your daddy drove really slowly), and then staring at you in complete amazement wondering what adventures lay ahead and what kind of person you were going to be (watching you sleep was better than any TV show.)
never would i have imagined the absolute joy of watching you grow, learn, walk, and talk. most of all – the happiness and delight you bring to your daddy and i (your smile and laugh still make me melt...) i'm still in awe at how much those two delicate babies i once held are gone, growing up fast, and getting a little more independent each day. although, in my eyes, you’ll still be my little baby girls (even when you’re 40...)
some of your favorite things: mickey mouse clubhouse, cinderella, animals (especially monkeys), winnie the pooh, wooden puzzles, dressing up in your tutus and hats, princesses, books, playing kitchen & cooking, coloring & painting, the slide in the park, dancing, singing and swinging.
things i'm going to miss most when you grow up:
cooking me pizza and coffee for daddy in your play kitchen, drinking "lembonade", putting your stuffed animals to bed, "stink-stink and amy night night, how something simple - like a bug or a flower - can be a celebrity in your eyes. how you squeeze so tight when you give me a hug, little tiny kisses.
what you asked for your birthday:
elmo cupcakes, anything winnie the pooh and more rockie( you love for me to rock you to sleep at night)
the first time that you were together in the nicu (february 4, 2007)
january 30, 2008- your first birthday party
your second birthday party-january 2009
happy 2nd birthday my sweet, wonderful amazing girls. i love you more than you will ever know.

Happy Birthday Preslee and Mason!!!!
Two years old already! It really doesn't seem possible. Time does fly when you are having fun and life is so good!!! Baby Finley Clark is a perfect extra birthday gift for girls. They will be the best big sisters.
John and I are so lucky that I have to pinch myself - 5 wonderful grandchildren!!! Hurrah!!!
Laura, The older the girls get the more beautiful they become. They are such precious little girls and so well behaved. You have done a great job with them. They are sweet, caring, and sharing. They've brought Papaw and me such joy! They are going to teach Finley so many wonderful things. She's blessed to have them as her big sisters. My only saddness is that because of distance Amy, Gavin, Papaw and I don't get to spend more time with you and the girls. We can't wait until you can come visit us here in the mountains again.
